Cuatroseis

A multifunctional coworking space.

In 2013 and shortly after finishing college, some friends from the graphic design class and me decided to come together and create our own shared office. Cuatroseis was mainly conceived as a coworking but also as a space for dialog, ideas and action: as a place to support each other professionally and a place to inspire the design community with exhibitions and workshops.

The space

Cuatroseis was founded in the heart of 22@ district in Barcelona, known to be the city’s hub for innovation, technology and creativity. There, we rented an office space which we remodeled and furnished to create an open and flexible space.

Opening: Vente el 20

On the 20th of July 2014, we organized an opening party at Cuatroseis. Following the goal of building a space to bring the creative community together, we launched our first exhibition in cooperation with Emergents.0 on this date.

Being the first time that Emergents.0 exhibited in Barcelona, we decided to organize a retrospective and invite various participants from the previous editions of the art initiative. Works from the artists Natàlia Rabert, Piulo, Octavi Serra, Pau MF, Oda Sales, Esther Miquel, Enrique Yáñez and Agneshka Zog were showcased.
